Community Action Drives

1. Clean-Up & Green Projects

At Kibra Youth Network, we believe that true impact happens when communities come together. Our Community Action Drives are youth-led initiatives that tackle urgent local challenges while building leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. These drives create opportunities for young people to lead, while uniting neighbors, schools, families, and local partners to shape sustainable solutions.

Clean-Up & Green Projects

We organize clean-up drives, tree planting, and waste awareness campaigns to improve the environment and health of our neighborhoods. These activities don’t just beautify our spaces — they teach young people about sustainability and responsible living. Through these efforts, youth take ownership of their environment and develop lifelong habits of caring for their communities.

Youth-Led Community Dialogues

Our forums and open-air dialogues provide safe spaces where young people can share their voices and ideas on pressing issues such as education, safety, and mental health. By bringing together youth, elders, and local leaders, these dialogues encourage understanding and cooperation across generations. They also help youth become confident contributors in shaping the future of their communities.

Solidarity & Volunteer Programs

From food drives to mentorship sessions and back-to-school support initiatives, our solidarity programs mobilize youth volunteers to extend a hand to vulnerable families and children. These acts of kindness not only provide relief but also nurture empathy and responsibility in young people. By stepping up for others, youth strengthen the bonds that hold communities together.
