Decisions about Kibera are still too often made without the young people who live here. Our Youth Leadership Forums turn that around. They are regular gatherings where young people set the agenda, debate the issues that shape their lives, and build the confidence to speak in rooms where they used to be only spoken about.

Every forum mixes open dialogue with practical training in public speaking, advocacy, project planning, conflict resolution and civic participation. Just as importantly, it connects young leaders with community elders, local officials, schools and organisations who can actually act on what they propose.
